How do I find my appliance's model number?
Look for a small sticker, plate, or printed label on your appliance.
Common locations:
- Refrigerators: inside the fresh-food compartment, on the side wall or ceiling, or behind the crisper drawer
- Washers (top-load): under the lid, on the front frame
- Dryers: inside the door opening or on the back panel
- Dishwashers: on either side of the door opening, or on the inside top edge of the door
- Ovens / stoves: behind the storage drawer, behind the door, or on the side panel
- Cooktops: on the underside of the unit (you may need to pull it slightly forward)
- Ice makers and freezers: inside the unit, on the side wall, or behind the kick plate
- Garbage disposals: on the bottom or side of the unit under the sink
